Vampire counts are a strong choice because they're forgiving for the player. You can win most of the fights by outlasting the enemy.
Their economy is strong, and their units resilient. The problem is you're in the middle of the map and might be overwhelmed by enemies if you're not careful.ĭwarfs is also a good starting point and might be easier to play. That said, in case it might help you decide:Įmpire is a good starting point in that it has a bit of everything the game has to offer: any kind of units (but flying units, only heroes with flying mounts), magic, prayers, unique buildings, trade, confederation, etc. What faction has the most appeal to you? that's the question you want to ask yourself, because no faction in single player campaign is too complicated to play.
